Will you be teaching the Photography course at DelVal U, starting in September? If so will you just be focusing on B&W film photography or giving a course in general i.e. lighting, composition, techniques etc.?

Will you be giving a talk at the Zen Den Sunday and if so is there room for me to attend?

      Ed,

Thanks for contacting me! Yes I will be teaching at DelVal in September!!! The course will be general and is really derived from one of my blog entries concerning how to live a photographic life. The goal will be to get everyone to do things that helps keep their “heads in the game” even if they can’t always be out making photographs. Along with that, participants will end up creating a portfolio of prints, which I think is really important… in today’s world most people only see their pictures on there cellphones, laptops, pads, etc… never in their hands, let alone on a wall! So the focus will not be on black and white film for this one as I thought most participants would not have access to a darkroom, or even use film. I just taught a workshop in Virginia that focused on that and hope to be doing those here in Doylestown. Let’s discuss if you are interested!

And, yes, I will be hosting another Photo Chat Get-Together on Sunday at 10am at the Zen Den. I would love to have you join us!!!!

I look forward to meeting you!

      Best,

      Michael
